Erome doesn't have a mobile app and never will — Apple and Google prohibit adult content in their app stores. But you can still use Erome on your phone. Here's how to get the best experience on each platform.
iPhone (iOS)
Best Browser: Safari or Chrome
Safari works for basic browsing but has some quirks with Erome:
- Some video formats may not play — if a video shows a blank player, try Chrome for iOS
- Safari's content blocker support helps with ads — enable one from the App Store
- The "Reader Mode" button sometimes activates on Erome pages, which breaks the layout
Add to Home Screen
For an app-like experience with any Erome frontend:
- Open the site in Safari
- Tap the share button (square with arrow)
- Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen"
- Tap "Add"
This creates an icon that opens in full-screen mode — no browser bars, no tabs.
Ad Blocking on iPhone
Install a content blocker from the App Store (like AdGuard or 1Blocker), then enable it in Settings → Safari → Content Blockers. Alternatively, use an alternative frontend that has minimal ads built-in.
Android
Best Browser: Firefox or Brave
- Firefox — supports extensions including uBlock Origin, the best ad blocker. This is the recommended option for Erome on Android.
- Brave — built-in ad blocking without needing extensions. Good performance.
- Chrome — works but has no ad blocking capability on mobile.

Video Playback Issues
Android generally handles Erome videos well. If videos don't play:
- Check that your browser is updated
- Try a different browser (Chrome has the broadest codec support)

- Pop-up ads are unbearable — use Firefox+uBlock (Android) or a content blocker (iOS), or use an ad-free frontend
- Videos buffer forever — likely a CDN issue, not your connection. Wait and retry. Or try a VPN to route through a faster path.
